Commonly known as "Giant Cockscomb" (Celosia cristata), this plant (an annual no less) can reach 36 to 38 " tall ad with blooms reaching as much as 12 across. They seem to do much better with really warm weather. Excellent as a container plant too! Flower heads can be dried for use in dried flower arrangements and will hold their color even w/out any special treatment. Produces millions of seeds!First and last images were shot with my new Kodak Z1012IS, one in the middle with my old Samsung Digimax 201 (also have a new Samsung SL30, NICE!)
